This is an undated photograph taken by Mick Overall from the hills overlooking the harbour.  Quite probably he
 was on his way to view the Robert Falcon Scott Memorial, a very well-known landmark (see below).

In this picture (probably from the 1930's) the 'Tiki is easily identified by its two funnel conformation.

Its juxtaposition in the old photo-album is
very suggestive that it was taken on the same
day as the photograph immediately above.

Erected between 1913 an 1914 to commemorate the
valiant but ultimately tragic expedition led by
Capt. Robert Falcon Scott to the South Pole.
